35,000 Sq. Ft. of Manufacturing and Warehouse Space Under Construction
Springfield, Missouri - January 11, 2010 - Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has broken ground for its fourth and largest expansion, the addition of 35,000 square feet of new manufacturing and warehouse space in Springfield, MO. The increased size of the facility will allow DMP to meet the growing demand for its industry-leading array of intrusion, fire, access control, and network and cellular communication products.
"All signs point to continued growth for DMP," said Vice President of Corporate Services Steve Powell. "Business has been very good, and we need the additional space to accommodate expected future growth. The DMP facility, originally built in 2000, has undergone three major expansions. The new construction now underway will be completed in April of this year. Additional hiring is planned to staff the expanded production and warehouse areas.
