DGI Supply Set to Acquire MIT of Omaha, Nebraska


Wheeling, IL. (March 28, 2011) - DGI Supply, a DoALL Company, announced today that it has signed a letter of intent to purchase all outstanding shares of Midwest Industrial Tools, Inc. The owners expect the deal to be finalized by May 1st. Allan Chartier, the current President and CEO of MIT, will remain with the company through the transition.

DGI Supply intends to broaden the inventory in MIT's 30,000 square foot facility in Omaha and plans to use order fulfillment operations in Omaha and Columbus to supplement DGI's logistics network. Henricks added "the combined inventory will improve service levels and DGI's automated systems will improve efficiency while reducing errors. With the MIT account managers providing the same high level of technical support and now offering better service & logistics, this move is a strong positive for MIT Customers."
