DEK Invites Visitors to "Expect More" at Nepcon 2007, Stand B40

DEK has confirmed plans to showcase its comprehensive range of product and process expertise from stand B40 at Nepcon 2007, set to take place at the Birmingham NEC from May 15th - 17th. From high accuracy mass imaging platforms and stencil solutions, through to process support products such as SMT paper rolls, the DEK team will be demonstrating a variety of leading-edge technologies in action - showing Nepcon visitors why DEK customers around the world Expect More.

At the heart of the DEK stand, a live demonstration of Horizon 03i will highlight the mass imaging leader's commitment to the delivery of high performance, cost-efficient manufacturing operations. Engineered for maximum flexibility and the lowest cost of ownership, the fully automatic in-line screen printer is characterised by DEK's acclaimed Horizon platform range's robustness, reliability and stability. With its rapid set-up and changeover capabilities being ideal for prototyping and pre-production, Horizon 03i is a leading-edge technology equipped to meet today's manufacturing challenges.

The Horizon 03i display will be further complemented by a live demonstration of DEK's breakthrough high speed print verification HawkEye(TM) technology. Nepcon visitors will be able to watch HawkEye use data-rich inspection to record rapid pass/fail indications for printed boards. Verifying an extensive number of sites and instantly isolating faults at the line beat rate, HawkEye provides high-speed deposit verification without the overheads and complexities associated with traditional 2D inspection.

Showcasing a variety of productivity tools, the DEK display will incorporate a comprehensive range of stencils and screen technologies, including the popular VectorGuard® and Platinum stencil systems. In addition, the DEK team will be on hand for the duration of the show to demonstrate how ProFlow® enclosed print head technology and the Grid-Lok® tooling system can equip customers for maximum pre-placement efficiency. As just a few of the highlights set to feature on stand B40, DEK's Nepcon presence will showcase the knowledge and expertise driving every product and process innovation from the mass imaging specialist.
