DEK Appoints New Quality Assurance Engineer


DEK is delighted to announce the appointment of Miguel Villegas, as Quality Assurance Engineer. With a wealth of experience in the engineering field, Miguel is a qualified quality assurance professional with a comprehensive skills base in lean and 6 sigma. The new recruit will be based at DEK's UK premises in Weymouth and his main objective will be to focus on product quality and supplier issues, as well as supporting the DEK team with 6 sigma strategy.

Miguel has 12 years' experience within the engineering field working for organisations such as Cummins turbo technologies, Johnson Controls and Dana Spicer Traction Technologies to name just a few. For day-to-day operations Miguel will report directly to Quality Assurance Manager, Peter Davey. The new Quality Assurance Engineer will also be responsible for supporting Global Marketing Director, Karen Moore-Watts, and Business Improvement Engineer, Liang Zong, as they fulfil DEK's long-term objectives regarding lean and 6 sigma strategies.
