DE-STA-CO Names Vice President of Sales for the North America
Madison Heights, Michigan, October 10, 2006 - DE-STA-CO recently announced the appointment of Scott Peters to the position of Vice President of Sales for the North American Industrial Automation business.
"Scott's many years of experience within DE-STA-CO, coupled with his is great leadership ability to command positive results, makes him an ideal candidate to lead the sales division for our North American efforts," said Kel Landers, President of the Workholding Products Group. "With the benefit of his knowledge and skill, we will continue to exceed our customers expectations."
In his new role at DE-STA-CO, Mr. Peters will continue to help develop strategy for the company's automation and workholding product lines, and will direct a variety of key programs with DE-STA-CO sales Team members and channels to ensure that DE-STA-CO meets the needs of it's customers.
Mr. Peters was selected for this position based on his long continued history of sales and management expertise in the manufacturing industry. He joined DE-STA-CO Robohand in 1996 as Regional Sales Manager. Mr. Peters has served as the Regional Director for both the East and West divisions and most recently as Regional Sales Director.
