Auburn Hills, Michigan, July 23, 2008 - DE-STA-CO recently announced the promotion of Leo McAuliffe to President of Automation. Prior to this appointment, Mr. McAuliffe served as the company's Director of Business Development for Automation in Europe.

As President of DE-STA-CO Automation, Mr. McAuliffe will be responsible for managing the company's global automation platform, which includes operations in Monroe, Connecticut and Wheeling, Illinois, the North American sales force, the corporate marketing department and DE-STA-CO Brazil.

"Leo's experience in international business, strategic product management, sales and marketing will enable him to leverage the synergies of the Robohand, Camco and Ferguson automation brands in the marketplace," said Pat Carroll, President of DE-STA-CO. "He will also be able to further the Team DE-STA-CO vision by utilizing the global footprint of the company to further expand our automation business around the world."

Prior to joining DE-STA-CO, Mr. McAuliffe was employed as the Managing Director of RPA Process Technologies in France - a former Dover company - where he played an instrumental role in the company's dramatic productivity gains, as well as its successful sale to a group of private investors.

Mr. McAuliffe also worked for Ingersoll-Rand, Parker Hannifin and Danfoss. He holds an MBA from Manchester Business School and Indiana University School of Business; a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity College Dublin; and a Post Grad diploma in Marketing. Mr. McAuliffe and his family will be relocating to Chicago.
