Minneapolis, MN - http://www.testedandproven.com - DDL, leader in medical device package, product & materials testing is pleased to announce the recent hire of Patrick Waddick, who joins the company as a Quality Assurance Manager in the Eden Prairie office. Waddick was hired to ensure adherence to DDL's stringent quality standards in anticipation of increased growth.
Waddick brings nineteen years of experience, seventeen of which are in quality assurance, to the DDL team. Within his new role, Waddick will assess DDL to better determine which steps need to be taken, or modified, in order to meet its obligation to operate under a superior quality management system to better service our clients.
"A major part of Waddick's goals will be to identify improvement areas and techniques that will enable DDL to retain its customers and capture new business as it continues to grow," Patrick Nolan, President of DDL said.
Waddick's prior experience includes almost eight years as a business process manager at BAE Systems (defense contractor), two years as a Six Sigma Black Belt at GE Capital and United Health, and three years as the ISO Management Representative at various companies.
"We were impressed with Patrick's experience, particularly in quality assurance," Corey Hensel, DDL's General Manager said. "He is passionate about improving processes, benchmarking them, and acquiring best practices that are second to none."
