Newly hired Business Development Manager to focus on the Great Lakes region
QUEBEC CITY, CANADA, April 6, 2006 - Rugged computing solutions provider DAP Technologies today announced Tamara Ells has joined the company's US sales team as Business Development Manager, Great Lakes region. With more than a decade of senior sales experience in the mobile computing solutions marketplace, Ells will contribute significantly as DAP continues to expand its US market position.
In her new role, Ells will be responsible for account management, sales forecasting and new business development for DAP's MICROFLEX line of rugged mobile hand held computing solutions and services.
"The Great Lakes region is home to numerous industries that can benefit from our applications, and Tamara will have a key role in matching prospects with effective DAP solutions," said Michael Gioseffi, president of DAP Technologies. "With an extensive background in mobile solutions sales, Tamara will be able to quickly asses the needs and requirements for a wide range of relevant industries, including field service, utilities, transportation and shipping."
Ells holds a Bachelor's degree in economics from Northwestern University. She will be based in Chicago, IL and will report directly to Len Schalkwyk, DAP's Vice President of Sales - Americas.
