QUEBEC CITY, CANADA, May 1, 2006 - Leading rugged mobile solutions provider DAP Technologies today announced it has enhanced its senior management team with the appointment of Benoît Masson to the position of Director of Marketing, and the promotion of Brian Aldham to Director of Public Utility Sales.

Benoît Masson, Director of Marketing A seasoned marketing executive, Masson will play a key role as the company continues to develop its competitive leadership in the rugged mobile marketplace. He will be responsible for developing product positioning, strategies, and pricing policies that meet and exceed customer and market demands for MICROFLEX computing solutions and services. He will report directly to DAP president Michael Gioseffi and will be based in Quebec City.
With more than a decade of marketing experience, Masson has held various marketing management functions in a variety of industries. Until recently, he was Senior Product Manager at Exfo, a leading designer, manufacturer, and marketer of fiber optic test, measurement, and monitoring instruments for the telecommunications industry. Masson holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from l'Université Laval.
Brian Aldham, Director of Public Utility Sales Aldham has more than 25 years of experience in the mobile service industry, including three years at DAP. In this new role, he will be responsible for sales forecasting and new business development and servicing for MICROFLEX, with a strong focus on the metering and non-metering utility market in North America. He will also continue to be a valuable member of DAP's senior management team and will be based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Previously, Aldham held roles in product management and business and hardware development within the rugged segment of the mobile computer industry. He most recently served as DAP's product manager, responsible for the international development of the MICROFLEX line of ergonomic and rugged mobile computer platforms and solutions.
