For positive, precise control of two-stage ejection, visit NPE 2009, West Hall Booth # 103000

Madison Heights, Mich. - D-M-E Company is furthering its commitment to be an essential resource for molders and moldmakers with its 2-Stage Ejectors at NPE 2009. D M E 2 State Ejectors adapt to a number of mold base sizes and plate thicknesses and, once installed, they ensure positive, precise control of the ejection sequence and stroke parameters.

The growing necessity to eliminate secondary operations leads to the molding of more complex parts with difficult-to-eject features such as protrusions and undercuts. D-M-E's technology offers a simplified solution to efficient ejection of these more intricate parts.

"Previously, molders had to develop their own solutions to two-stage ejection challenges," says Chuck Azzopardi, D-M-E Global Business Manager for Mold Bases and Components. "D M E 2 Stage Ejectors represent the first standardized solution, saving molders considerable time and money and allowing them to take on more complex projects."

Available in two ejection sequences, top-last and bottom-last, D-M-E 2-Stage Ejectors accomplish the translation of the single movement of the knock-out rod into two, independently set, movements of the ejector plates. D-M-E 2-Stage Ejectors are compatible with many other D M E mold action devices, including D-M-E Collapsible Cores, to maximize the efficiency of a wide range of molding applications.

2 Stage Ejectors are made with hardened steel to ensure precision and drastically reduce wear or variance issues. They come in three sizes to accommodate most standard D-M-E mold bases and are easy to set up and install. Once installed, there are no adjustments that can accidentally be changed and the internal mounting avoids interference with water line connectors and externally mounted components for continued optimal performance of the mold and processing machine.

D-M-E Company is an essential mold technologies resource to customers worldwide.

Through aggressive new product development, global product standardization and a powerful combination of in-house manufacturing centers of excellence and strategic global partnerships, D-M-E is helping customers succeed in changing times. The company's standard-setting, comprehensive product line-including hot runner systems; control systems; mold bases and components; mold making and molding supplies; and cold runner systems for elastomers - is backed by expert technical service every step of the way. A subsidiary of Milacron, Inc., D-M-E also manufactures and sells standard tooling for the die-casting industry. Visit www.dme.net for more information.
