CORVALLIS, OREGON - CyberLock is a system of electronic locks and keys that enables water utilities to control and monitor access to their physical assets . . . even in locations that have no available power. CyberLock is unique in that it incorporates the mechanical lock hardware that is already being used at water facilities. No wiring is required for installation. Simply replace each mechanical lock's cylinder with a CyberLock electronic cylinder.

With CyberLock, a utility can control whom and when someone accesses any area of their operations from entry gates and well fields to chemical feed areas and water sample stations.

CyberLock helps water utilities meet EPA security guidelines because the system allows them to track traffic throughout their facilities, even isolated areas. The electronic locks and keys record openings including exceptions such as unauthorized attempts to gain entry. The detailed audit reports of each person's key activity and lock openings demonstrates a water utility's due diligence in securing their physical assets. The system's email alerts keep management updated so informed decisions can be made when security issues arise.

Each employee or contractor's electronic key can be programmed to open selected locks on specific days during the hours that allow them to do their job. A key can be set with dates and times to begin and end operation. The CyberLock system eliminates worries about lost keys because the electronic key cannot be duplicated and a missing key can be quickly deactivated.
