In addition to customizing the internal design of the pump to meet application requirements including material composition, vacuum flow, vacuum level, speed, distance and air consumption, Vaccon will modify the vacuum and/or exhaust ports for smooth transitions and easy connections.
Vaccon material transfer pumps are ideal for unloading feeders, reloading hoppers, conveying powders, food products, plastics, and caustic chemicals, continuous selvedge removal in trimming operations, transferring of medical and automotive components, chip removal and more.
The uniquely tapered, in-line material transfer pumps create instantaneous vacuum flow using high velocity air to pass material directly through the pump at high speeds without interference or clogging. Its compact design allows placement close to the work area for maximum efficiency. With no moving parts, the material transfer pumps are maintenance free.
Vaccon standard material transfer pumps are made of anodized aluminum and come in 16 models with hard coat and Teflon coating options. DF pumps in 304 and 316 stainless steel are available for food processing, pharmaceutical or hazardous/corrosive material transfer.
