Press release date: May 16, 2008

BROOKFIELD, CT/May 16, 2008 - Streamline Technologies has recently added a new utility to its Interconnected Channel and Pond Routing model (ICPR) that calculates stage-area-volume relationships for underground stormwater systems, including CULTEC plastic chambers Contactor® 100 HD and entire Recharger® series.

ICPR is used for a variety of stormwater management and drainage applications, including detention pond design, stormwater management master plans, flood insurance studies, drainage retrofits, and roadway drainage systems. The new ICPR version 3.10 includes a calculator that uses geometric data provided by manufacturers such as CULTEC to build necessary stage-area-storage relationships.

"The new calculator makes modeling of underground stormwater systems much easier," said Peter Singhofen, P.E., President of Streamline Technologies, Inc. "We added a variety of CULTEC chambers to increase the number of tools and options available to our users."

ICPR users can choose from several CULTEC models, including Contactor® 100HD and Recharger series which consists of the Recharger® 150, 180, 280, 330XL and V8 models.

The Contactor® 100HD is a lower profile, lower capacity chamber used primarily for managing stormwater for installations with stringent depth restrictions. The Recharger® series included in ICPR are high profile, high capacity chambers that can be used for retention, detention, recharging, or controlling the flow of on-site stormwater run-off.

All CULTEC chambers feature built-in endwalls for strength throughout the system and a patented, overlapping rib connection, which allows for easy installation and a stronger connection between chambers. They are constructed of high-density polyethylene for greater chemical resistance to parking lot run-off. For more information, please call (800) 4-CULTEC or visit www.cultec.com.

ICPR has been in use for more than 25 years and was the first commercial program of its kind to successfully solve the problem of flood routing through complex networks of interconnected and hydraulically interdependent stormwater ponds. The model has been expanded greatly since those early days and now includes hydrodynamic modeling of channel and pipe systems and a fully integrated hydrology component. ICPR was also the first proprietary model to be listed as a "Nationally Accepted Hydraulic Model" by FEMA. Although its roots are in Florida, ICPR is used nationwide by thousands of engineers and regulatory agencies.

CULTEC, Inc., headquartered in Brookfield, Connecticut, is a national manufacturer of plastic chambers used in subsurface retention/detention stormwater management systems and septic applications. In addition, the company has designed its own manifold and water quality systems to complement its product line. CULTEC offers a complete stormwater management plan to help engineers and their clients meet Phase II regulations of the Environmental Protection Agency's Clean Water Act. The company currently provides the largest variety of sizes and types of products of any chamber manufacturer, and its Recharger® and Contactor® models have an established history on the stormwater and septic markets dating back to 1986.
