The RC Series RAP Crusher from Schutte-Buffalo Hammermill saves production time and operational costs by reducing reclaimed asphalt product to the exact desired finished particle size in just one pass - a result that requires multiple passes from traditional impact crushers.
The RC Series is available in five sizes with infeed widths ranging from 22"x24" to 22"x60" and throughput capacities from 20 to 125 tph. All models are constructed from ¾" steel plate and feature replaceable abrasion resistant side and impact liner plates, 1" wide hard surfaced rotor disks, and long wearing 3" wide, two-way reversible cast carbide hammers. Heavy duty bar grates, made from highly abrasion resistant steel are available in a variety of sizes to ensure right sizing of end product.
In addition to reclaimed asphalt, the RC Series is ideal for processing a variety of other materials approved for use in hot mix production, such as : asphalt shingles, waste glass, slag and more.
