Crestron Unveils Complete, Sustainable Integrated Building Management Solutions at InfoComm® International 2012

Crestron Integrated by Design(TM) Products Deliver Comprehensive Building Management Solution

Las Vegas, NV - Today, commercial buildings are smarter than ever before and require a fundamentally new approach to building management. Crestron will showcase its integrated enterprise solutions during InfoComm® International 2012 this week in Las Vegas. Crestron solutions enable global monitoring, management and control of AV, energy, voice & data, lighting, security, room scheduling, and HVAC on a single platform to maximize energy savings, lower operational costs and increase productivity. InfoComm attendees will have the opportunity to experience the fully-functional integrated building environment live at the show.

"No one is building schools, hospitals, hotels or office spaces that aren't energy efficient, networked and digital," said Sean Goldstein, Crestron VP of Marketing. "While the various technologies and systems may be on the network, they all run separately. Our clients want and expect all systems on the network to work together in an intelligent way and to be centrally managed."

There's only one dependable way to achieve measurable, worthwhile reductions in energy usage and utility costs: integrate all building systems on a single platform. Crestron brings all the technology under one roof so clients can make intelligent, informed decisions, support all the technology in all the rooms, and set up automation to optimize energy efficiency.

"Integrated by Design is where we see the future of building and home technology heading," said Fred Bargetzi, Crestron VP of Technology. "Our solutions are engineered to integrate with other technology in the building on one platform so that it can be monitored, managed and controlled conveniently and more efficiently."

Crestron will introduce several new products at InfoComm that enable complete building management. Here are some of Integrated by Design solutions attendees will experience at the show:

Crestron makes it easy and affordable to upgrade all the analog AV systems to digital and get them on the network. Crestron DigitalMedia(TM) is more than a switcher and a receiver. It's a complete, engineered, source-to-display AV solution. DigitalMedia includes everything needed to connect, display, distribute and manage all analog and digital - audio and video signals. And DigitalMedia is easy to integrate with the managed network. DM® features a built-in high-speed Ethernet switch and operates in Private Network Mode - meaning the entire DM system uses just one IP address on the network. DM also supports SNMP data, so IT managers can monitor the AV system from their IT dashboard - such as HP Network Management Center or IBM Tivoli®.

CaptureLiveHD(TM), the new simple, affordable high-definition lecture capture and live streaming solution, provides faculty and presenters with a simple to use one-button solution to schedule, record, publish online, and view lectures, presentations and medical procedures.

CaptureLiveHD is smartly designed as a complete yet practical meeting and lecture capture solution that's easy for the entire faculty to use, and offers the lowest cost of ownership since there are no annual service fees. The budget-friendly solution permits wide-scale deployment across any sized campus or corporate environment.

Fusion(TM) enterprise management platform revolutionizes the way organizations control their building technology. Fusion is a modular platform providing the foundation for smarter buildings that save energy and enhance worker productivity. Customers can choose to deploy Fusion RV(TM)(RoomView), Fusion EM(TM)(Energy Management), or both based on organizational needs. Fusion RV enables organizations to centrally monitor and manage room scheduling, as well as AV presentation and video conferencing resources from the help desk. Award-winning Fusion EM manages and monitors all energy sources in real-time, captures, analyzes, and modifies historical usage data, and allows users easy access to control and automate commands that impact energy savings, all within the same interface.

Crestron 3-Series(TM) Control Systems with BACnet/IP support form the core of any modern building, integrating and managing all the disparate technologies throughout the facility to impact productivity, efficiency and cost savings. Integrated control of lighting, shades, HVAC, AV, BMS, security, IT, and other connected systems is now faster, simpler and more efficient than ever before. Built-in BACnet/IP support enables seamless integration with existing building management systems. All systems run independently and communicate with each other on the same platform, creating a truly smart building.

Six 3-Series Control System(TM) models are now offered. It all started with the MC3, which now features built-in OSD control capability. The rack-mountable CP3 gets three new siblings: the CP3N, AV3, and PRO3. Finally, the TPCS-4SMD combines a 3-Series control processor and touch screen controller in one, affording complete room control at an incredible price - and no equipment rack required.

The new DMPS-300-C-AEC provides everything needed to equip any room for the highest quality HD presentations and more. Intelligently combined into an efficient all-in-one component, DMPS-300-C-AEC delivers a complete high-definition presentation control and signal routing solution that integrates a control processor, multimedia matrix switcher, mic mixer, audio DSP and amplifier with DigitalMedia technology. DMPS-300-C-AEC takes in every source signal, processes, mixes and amplifies the audio, and transmits it all flawlessly over a single CAT5e wire. To improve presentations, lectures and video/teleconferencing, Crestron added full-bandwidth acoustic echo cancelling (AEC) to all six mic inputs, eliminating the need for third party echo cancelling devices.

The newest addition to the Crestron touch screen family, the TSW-750 is a surface mount touch screen featuring a clean, contemporary appearance with edge-to-edge glass and Core 3 UI(TM) graphics. Perfectly at home in the modern office building or school, its high-tech good looks underline its power for simplifying everyday tasks and functions throughout any facility. The TSW-750 delivers the ultimate touch screen experience in an unobtrusive, space-saving design featuring a brilliant 7 inch touch screen display and 5 soft-touch buttons for quick access to commonly used functions such as "Power," "Home," "Lights," "Up," and "Down."
