ROCKLEIGH, NJ, January 25, 2010 - Crestron today announced the appointment of Mike Malone as its new Senior Director of Lighting Controls. Malone is responsible for leading the continued growth of Creston's rapidly expanding lighting control business, selling integrated lighting control systems into industrial, office and public buildings. Over the past 25 years, Malone has established a successful track record of sales growth in the commercial and residential lighting and control industries.

"Lighting control is a major part of our business, and Crestron Green Light® is one of our fastest growing product lines," says Randy Klein, Crestron Executive Vice President. "Bringing Mike onboard demonstrates our commitment to this business and our industry. Lighting controls are an essential part of our complete intelligent building technology solution and whole house control."

Malone established his career with Rockwell Automation in the factory and industrial automation segment, where he created a major account program and set up a distribution channel in Asia. He has consistently demonstrated leadership, directing and organizing sales and marketing efforts for existing businesses, and significantly increasing revenue and market share.

"I am incredibly excited to lead Crestron lighting control and continue to drive its growth," says Malone. "It is very rare in today's business environment to have a company with the resources, innovation and leadership that Crestron brings to the market, and I look forward to even greater success in the future."
