Crescent Industries' engineers make use of 3D simulation software to obtain an analysis of the tool, part and inserts during the molding process.
Advantages of this analysis is receiving prediction data of jetting, calculation of the fiber orientation, air pressure, fluid flow and cooling based on heat transfer in teh mold, residual stresses and distortion for the part and all inserts. Crescent's engineers than accumulate this data to correct and avoid potential problems in the design phase to optimize the production process, cycle times, and document the optimal process conditions to produce quality plastic components based on customer specifications.
