Randolph, OH (July-2006)-Craftsmen Industries of St. Charles, MO., just west of St. Louis, has joined the East Manufacturing family of dump trailer dealers.
"The company was started by my father, Joe, in 1982 as a trailer repair shop with eight employees," notes Lou Helmsing, General Manager. "In 25 years, we've grown to over 250 employees in three locations in the St. Charles area."
The addition of the East dump trailer line is a "natural progression" for the business as well, explained Helmsing. "Many of our current customers already run dump trailers," he said, "and with our new service facility and larger inventory of parts, we'll better be able to serve that market niche."
Helmsing was referring to Craftsmen's new 80,000 square-foot facility located on 34 acres on Hwy. 370 in St. Charles. The business is the first full-service East dealer in the area, and serves eastern Missouri and central Illinois.
"We're just gearing up to add the East line of dump trailers," Helmsing noted, "but we're anticipating a steady growth in sales.
