Press release date: October 27, 2008

GENEVA, New York- Correct Building Products (CBP, www.correctbp.com), in cooperation with regional building supplier Erie Materials, donated the ultra-low maintenance, sustainable CorrectDeck CX for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition's recent rebuild project in Geneva, NY. The television program will air on Sunday, November 2 (8:00-9:00 ET) on the ABC Television Network.

The rebuilt, 200-year-old farmhouse now features two decks made from CorrectDeck CX in Coastal Grey that were installed using CorrectDeck's hidden fastening system, the Fastenator. The first is a U-shaped wrap-around that extends nine feet out from the house and is 15 feet on each side and 46 feet across the front. The second is a raised deck on the home's second floor and measures 8'x32'.

This is the second ABC Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project that Correct Building Products has participated in during the past year. In February, the company's composite decking was also used on a home in Milbridge, Maine.

CBP frequently works with its network of distributors and dealers nationwide to donate to worthy causes including Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Habitat for Humanity and Scouting projects. In this case, CBP was one of seven building products manufacturers that Erie worked with to donate the materials for the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project.

"The CorrectDeck folks were great," commented Jeff Erhard, vice president of sales for Erie Materials. "They even sent a couple guys to help with the installation so we could finish the project in the tight timeframe. The family and builder were thrilled with the product, which despite having 200 people constantly walking across it, performed very well and looked like new when construction finished."
