The new addition of a Color Laser Mail 3640 Envelope Printer from PSI Engineering will allow Corporate Disk Company to accommodate high volume variable data printing.
As a full service solution provider including DVD & CD-ROM manufacturing, Corporate Disk has over 25 years of experience in the print, packaging and fulfillment industries offering a full spectrum of digital on-demand printing services.
"Adding the color laser mail 3640 will increase our productivity and deliver the versatility, personalization and quality that our customers want," commented Joe Foley, Vice President Sales. Similar to other printers, it's multifunctional and will print on post cards, glossy stock, labels, and standard paper and has the capacity to print up to 40 full color envelopes per minute. The printer's variable data capability will be an important feature for promotional on-demand jobs. Initially Corporate Disk Company intends to use these envelopes to help package some of their clients' newsletters and other mailing pieces, but they anticipate a growth with other direct mail services in the near future, and the full ability to personalize images, text, and information offers a wide variety of solutions.
"This unit has some great features that will save time and money, like one pass printing. It's also easy to set up and requires minimal operator involvement. Initial tests have been run and we are ready for full production." said Narsai Solomon, ePrint Manager. With separate developer, drum and main charge unit, it allows for replacement of individual components as needed.
