Cooper Industries Completes Acquisition of Hernis Scan Systems AS


DUBLIN, Dec. 30, 2010 - Cooper Industries plc (NYSE: CBE) announced today that Cooper Safety has completed the acquisition of Hernis Scan Systems AS, following receipt of regulatory clearances and the requisite shareholder approval from shareholders of Vislink plc (LSE: VLK.L). The acquisition of Hernis Scan Systems is the fifth acquisition by Cooper this year and the third in the explosion-proof harsh and hazardous environment platform.
