Control Company in April 2006 signed an agreement with A2LA (American Association for Laboratory Accreditation). This accord permits Control Company to use the ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) and MRA (Mutual Recognition Arrangement) symbol and name on Traceable® Certificates. The new markings are an indication that Traceable Certificates are now internationally recognized by accreditation agencies and governments in over 75 countries throughout the world.
Traceable Certificates are supplied with products manufactured by Control Company. These include timers, thermometers, humidity meters, calipers, tachometers, barometers, and conductivity meters. The certificate from Control Company's ISO 17025 A2LA accredited calibration laboratory indicates a product's accuracy is traceable to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
