Continuous Improvement and Lean are Still the Watchword at Creform Booth

ProMat 2013 Exhibitor Preview Information

At ProMat 2013, January 21-24, Chicago, IL, Creform® Corporation, Greer, SC (Booth #1881) will demonstrate how its products and sales engineers help manufacturers strengthen their lean and continuous improvement programs. Some of Creform's latest products that support lean will include its most sophisticated AGV drive unit, the BST NSI Tugger model, its unique heavy-duty 42mm pipe & joint system and Placon® Roller Conveyors.

The BST NSI AGV has a sophisticated control system that can mobilize an entire fleet of carts for up to 50 courses, 128 commands each, programmable by onboard HMI touch screen or PC. It can also be part of a managed AGV system with traffic control. These units are ideally suited for delivering carts of sequenced or kitted parts to assembly lines with very little human interface, eliminating the need for manned tuggers.

The Creform 42mm pipe and joint system is well suited for building heavy-duty structures such as workstations, flowracks, carts and AGVs using less pipe and joints for bracing to meet strength requirements. Creform Placon® Roller Conveyors are best suited for conveying totes and boxes with soft bottoms or unpackaged parts. Other items shown will be concepts and designs for many material handling structures and systems, all designed to support continuous improvement and lean programs.
