Press release date: May 12, 2006

SAVAGE, MN - Continental Hydraulics, a division of Continental Machines, Inc. announces the launch of an aggressive new growth initiative designed to increase market share for itself and its network of independent distributors.

Key to the success of this initiative is the company's integrated marketing communications plan, encompassing everything from the introduction of an all-new brand identity program to the revitalization of its channel partner business model. As the name implies, the plan integrates every aspect of the company's sales and marketing communications activities to present a clear, consistent message of product quality and reliability to each of its key customer groups: distributor customers, end-user customers and Continental employees.

Beginning this month, Continental introduces an exciting, attention-getting, new look-and-feel based on the image of the venerable rhinoceros, an icon representative of the power and survivability inherent in its hydraulic products. Continental's new logo and related "Rhino Power" theme appear on everything from the company's letterhead and business cards to its completely redesigned website, continentalhydraulics.com." The Continental rhino is also featured in a series of full-page, full-color ads placed in key industry publications throughout the remainder of the year.

"This is an exciting opportunity for us," said Continental's new Director of Sales and Marketing, Ken Waldron. "We've been a pretty quiet company for quite a while and it's fun to part of something new. I'm looking forward to working closely with our distributor partners in the coming weeks and months as we re-invigorate the Continental brand to help grow the distributor portion of our business."

To help accomplish this goal, Continental's plans include enhancing its distributor support program to provide more effective field sales tools to help them promote Continental products and grow their businesses. In addition, Continental will be busy optimizing its sales force expertise to improve product line management and the overall efficiency of its sales cycle.

Headquartered in Savage, MN, Continental Hydraulics designs and manufactures high-performance, robust hydraulic pumps, valves and power units for a wide variety of mobile and industrial applications. Every Continental product is rigorously tested in the lab and in the field in normal and severe service conditions to help assure it meets or exceeds established performance and service life standards. The company has over 40 years experience supplying standard and custom-order hydraulic components quickly and efficiently, helping shorten time-to-market cycles. A part of the DoAll Company, Continental Hydraulics products are available globally through an independent distribution network.
