November 1, 2007 - With an increasing necessity for more security in a world that is gripped with the uncertainties of terrorism, government entities are updating outdated security equipment. These pocket-sized cards conform to FIPS 201 standards and are embedded with integrated circuits that can process information. This implies that it can receive input, which is processed - by way of the ICC applications - and delivered as output.
