Connect One strength recognized in DeloitteTechnology Fast 500 and M2M Magazine's M2M 100

KFAR SABA, ISRAEL, December 17, 2007-Connect One(TM), the Device Networking Authority(TM), boasts double honors in December. Connect One placed Number 60 on the 2007 Deloitte EMEA Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), as well as winning a place for the second time on M2M Magazine's M2M 100 list, a list of the most influential providers of machine-to-machine (M2M) technology. Connect One manufactures semiconductors and device servers that facilitate secure, reliable and robust Internet connectivity for M2M applications.

To determine the fastest growing companies, Deloitte reviewed fiscal year revenues of high-technology public and private companies over five years (2002-2006), calculated the revenue growth percentage over five years, and compared the growth of technology companies. Despite significant economic challenges in the embedded space, Connect One has achieved 2400 percent growth in the last five years. Making this list marks a significant accomplishment for Connect One.

"The current financial turbulence and economic uncertainty does not appear to have made the front-runners in the technology race in EMEA either slow their pace or lose their focus," said Igal Brightman, Global Managing Partner of Deloitte's Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) Industry group. "These businesses are successfully managing exponential growth and, in particular, finding the right people in the right places to drive that growth."

The M2M 100 directory provides a snapshot of the current M2M market and highlights the companies with the greatest impact on its future directions. The editors of M2M Magazine and its advisory board selected the M2M 100 finalists based on the leadership and impact a company is having in the marketplace.

"The 2008 M2M 100 directory provides a snapshot of a burgeoning market and identifies the companies with the greatest impact on its direction," said Michael Jarosik, editor, M2M magazine. "With newfound stability among technology providers, end-to-end solutions are becoming more easily attained and implemented, delivering dramatic return on investment to end users. "

Connect One has developed cutting-edge, industry-leading secure IP networking solutions since it was founded in 1996. With many first-to-market developments to its name, Connect One has pioneered the Internet controller concept and is solely responsible for the AT+i protocol, an industry-standard protocol for connecting everyday devices to the Internet that Connect One released publicly in 1998. Connect One's most recent product, the iChip CO2128 provides a secure firewall-on-a-chip and reliable TCP/IP connectivity for everyday devices and products connected to LAN, GPRS, WiFi and other IP networks.

The connectivity that Connect One provides underlies many of the modern automation conveniences now taken for granted in applications such as point-of-sale machines, medical devices, security systems and fleet management terminals-applications commonly grouped under the umbrella of M2M technologies.

"Connect One is thrilled to be honored by these recognitions," confirmed Amir Friedman, CEO of Connect One. "It is our customers who have enabled us to win these awards. They have recognized that our IP technology ensures their products have secure, reliable connectivity thereby saving them time and cost in bringing their products to market. We see continued strong growth as we move forward into more M2M applications and continue to ride the adoption curve of the existing ones."
