IPC’s Ongoing Effort to Connect Companies with Capitol Hill Representatives

BANNOCKBURN, Ill., USA — Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema (AZ-9) visited Isola’s manufacturing and R&D facilities in Chandler, Arizona on Friday, January 3 to learn about the issues that concern the developer and manufacturer of materials used to fabricate advanced printed circuit boards.

“For many years, my father worked at Raytheon, so I know very well how the interests of a manufacturer affects the livelihood of every one of its employees and their families,” said Sinema. “I look forward to working with IPC and learning how I can help my constituents make a difference in the manufacture of electronic products that impact all our lives.”

In addition to providing a tour of the facilities, Isola’s CEO, Ray Sharpe, provided Rep. Sinema with an executive briefing on such issues  as export controls, R&D tax credits and intellectual property protection — all high priority items on the company’s ’s list of concerns.

“Isola was delighted to give Representative Sinema a tour of our R&D and manufacturing facilities,” said Sharpe. “It is critically important for manufacturers and their suppliers to engage with those in Washington who are setting policy, and I am grateful that IPC was able to help us make this visit happen.”
