Fast-growing systems integrator hires experienced plant manager and systems engineer to work with clients in the Portland area.
Albany, OR - October 19, 2010 - Concept Systems Inc., a leading industrial systems integrator with offices in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado, today announced that it has hired Glen Lawson as Sales Engineer for the Portland, Oregon metro area.
Recent positions held by Mr. Lawson include Specialty Group Manufacturing Manager for Weyerhaeuser Company, and Engineering Manager for Starbucks Coffee. Earlier he was controls engineer for Nabisco Foods.
"Glen's work experience as a food and packaging operations executive, combined with his 14+ years of management experience make him an excellent addition to our team," says Michael Gurney, Co-CEO/VP of Sales and Marketing, Concept Systems. "Concept Systems is growing, and we needed a dedicated Sales resource in the Portland area. Having a veteran executive such as Glen focus on this area will contribute to the success of our existing, as well as our future clients."
Lawson has a Bachelors of Applied Science degree in Automation Manufacturing Technology and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a Certified Power Engineer and recipient of the Start Magazine Technology Business Vision Award in 2003.
