Based on the award-winning CONTEX(R) audioconferencing technology, the CONTEX Summit(R) media processor is a powerful stand-alone collaboration solution designed to work within the IMS environment as it grows in both adoption and scope.
IMS was initially developed to converge the wireless network with wireline infrastructure and features a distributed, layered approach to application deployment as opposed to the single purpose service model that has previously been the industry standard.
