V-Infinity introduces a new line of compact open frame switching power supplies designed to replace the industry standard 3" x5" format. The 25 watt VOF-25-XX, the 45 watt VOF-45-XX, and the 65 watt VOF-65-XX are suited for a wide variety of applications where RoHS compliance is required and design space is limited. The units accept a universal input voltage (85 to 264 V ac) and offer efficiencies up to 88% in the 48V model. Exact dimensions of the VOF-25 measure 3.54x2.0x0.75 inches while the VOF-45/65 series measures 4.00 x 2.00 x 1.26 inches. The units are rated for operation at 100% load from 0 to 50 °C ambient.
The VOF-25/45/65 series delivers output voltages ranging from 3.3 V to 48 V among 23 separate single output models. Features include a power density greater than 6 W/in.3, short circuit protection, over current protection, and over voltage protection. Conductive EMI meets CISPR/FCC class B standards. Safety approvals include UL/cUL/TUV/CE/CB. OEM pricing starts at $8.94 per unit.
