Washington, D.C. - July 9, 2009 - The R&D Credit Coalition applauds House Small Business Committee Subcommittee on Contracting and Technology Chairman Glenn C. Nye (D-VA) for holding a hearing to recognize the importance of the federal Research & Experimentation Tax Credit for small business innovators.

"With many small businesses struggling, strengthening and permanently extending the R&D tax credit can provide the certainty small business owners need to continue their research activities-and keep jobs here in the United States."
