ComNet Expands, Adds VP of Product Management
Longtime Fiber Optic Vet Victor Milani to Head Global Product Management Function at ComNet
Danbury, CT. October 21, 2008, Communication Networks of Danbury, Connecticut, doing business as ComNet(TM), a leading manufacturer of fiber optic transmission and networking equipment, has hired Victor Milani to be the company's Vice President of Product Management. Vic will be responsible for company's product development efforts on a worldwide basis. Vic will report directly to George Lichtblau, ComNet's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Milani held the role of Director of Fiber Products for GE Security's fiber optic product brand for the past 6 years and was Vice President of Strategic Product and Market Development for the former Fiber Options Company before it was absorbed into GE Security. Vic has over 35 years of experience in the security market and his knowledge of the video and communications fields is greatly respected.
Milani will be responsible for managing the product line, assisting in the viability of new product designs and supporting the use of ComNet products in all global markets. Vic will be tasked with educating ComNet sales people, ComNet Manufacturers' Representatives and customers on all levels about the benefits ComNet products bring to their projects.
