ColorGATE Presents Its Comprehensive Solutions Portfolio for Commercial- and Industrial Printing at FESPA 2014

At this year's FESPA DIGITAL 2014 in Munich, ColorGATE presents its comprehensive and highly productive solutions portfolio for Commercial- and Industrial Printing.
Especially for the Industrial Printing, ColorGATE introduced its new Industrial Printing Solutions this spring. The main focus lies on SmartControl, the Industrial Printing Operating System (IP OS). The SmartControl IP OS comprises the control center of your printing system. The control of all the components, starting with the print heads, to the controllers, and right on up to the transport systems, is intelligent and easy with the SmartControl IP OS. The Productionserver is also available for Industrial Printing applications in the specially adapted PS 8 Industrial Inkjet Edition. This edition exhibits excellent Color Management for consistent color reproduction, proof functions as well as the generic industrial inkjet driver to support all industrial printing systems and applications. The PS8 Industrial Inkjet Edition also delivers all the functions required to check industrial printing systems early in the development process with respect to printing quality and color accuracy in a test procedure, taking different ink configurations into account, in particular.
For the Commercial Printing, ColorGATE will be presenting its entire RIP Software family, starting with the generalist Productionserver, to the specialists Filmgate, Plategate and Proofgate. The core product will be the Productionserver 8, which is able to contribute its strengths in regard to Color Management, an optimal color rendition and an anytime consistent reproduction for applications both in Commercial- and Industrial Printing.
The Media and Light Profiler Module (MLPFM) and the Trim Nesting Module (TNM) for Productionserver will be shown for the first time.
Media and Light Profiler Module (MLPFM)
The MLPFM allows a straightforward adaption of existing ICC profiles to changes in the media coloration or the illuminant. The adaption can be achieved without a time-consuming new profiling. Thus, it is possible to consider various media colorations or specific illuminants without any loss of time, which is especially important in industrial printing environments. Furthermore, the MLPFM enables the adjustment of a profile in terms of the used illuminant. Illuminants beyond D50 (daylight standard), such as D55, D65, Illuminant A and Tungsten are also eligible.
Trim Nesting Module (TNM)
The TNM manages the automatic placement of various print jobs on the printable area and adds synchronization marks for automatic roll cutters (e.g: Flexa, Fotoba etc.) to trim and finish the prints.
Value Pack
ColorGATE enhances its successful Value Pack program. Additional base product licenses (Productionserver , Filmgate, Plategate, Proofgate or SmartControl) can be purchased via a new attractive rental plan. Furthermore, Value Pack is now available for Filmgate, Plategate, Proofgate and the Industrial Printing Operating System SmartControl.
As part of the Workflow Solutions, Webgate the secure and versatile online shop solution will also be shown at FESPA 2014.

Productionserver 8 has successfully achieved the certification for the new HP Latex 300 series. The drivers Cat1 for the HP Latex 310, 330 and 360 systems will be available soon on our website in our "Supported printers" area. The driver for the also recently released HP-DesignJet-Z5400 is already available on our website for Productionserver 8.
