Monochrome Touch Screen Standard on Small Dryers, Touch Control Is Now Standard on the Full Line
Baltimore, MD - Plastic processing auxiliary equipment supplier Novatec, Inc. today announced that it has made color touch screen control standard on the medium and large models of its NovaWheel Dryers. Simultaneously, monochrome touch screen control has been made the standard interface on smaller NovaWheel Dryers, up to 400 lb./hr.
Even though touch screen control is now the standard interface on every NovaWheel model, and color is standard on models from 500 lb./hr. to 5000 lb./hr., there has been no change price increase on any model.
Mark Haynie, Product Manager for Novatec Dryers, said, "We have always supplied our medium and large wheel dryers with monochrome touch screens, and customers repeatedly have confirmed their advantages. Now a color touch screen control is standard on dryers from 600 lb./hr. through 5000 lb./hr. of capacity at no additional charge."

The speed and easy operation of NovaTouch control improves every existing performance advantage of NovaWheel Dryers. It eliminates time spent looking up confusing alarm codes, and provides a seven-day timer for auto on/off, filter maintenance alerts, a dew point sensor, loader control, a real time clock with battery backup, and an Ethernet communications option.
The NovaTouch graphical interface lets operators control drying parameters with simple step-by-step commands that virtually eliminate wrong choices. All setups and adjustments are notably faster. The most complex setup becomes a brief sequence of touches. Proof of the simplicity and intuitive nature of touch screen control is the runaway popularity of smartphones and tablet computers.
