CogniVue and Green Hills Software Enable the First APEX Software Development Platform for Embedded Vision

OTTAWA - CogniVue Corporation, who introduced the world's first Image Cognition Processor (ICP), announced today the APEX Software Development Platform for vision application development on its 2nd generation APEX ICP IP. CogniVue's APEX ICP IP core drives a >100x processing advantage vs conventional processing architectures for embedded vision applications.  The APEX Software Development platform allows customers to both evaluate the CogniVue technology and then continue with software development on the same platform. 

The first APEX Software Development Platform is based on a CogniVue APEX-321 ICP core implemented in an FPGA System-on-Chip platform with a Green Hills Software INTEGRITY® OS board support package.   The APEX Software Development Platform includes a license to the easy-to-use and intuitive APEX Programmer Tools, allowing developers to quickly design, debug and optimize their own vision algorithms. The APEX Software Development Platform combined with the APEX Programmer Tools drive fast time-to-market for customers developing APEX-based SOC products.
