The Balver Zinn Group announces that Cobar Solder Products Inc. now carries the Balver Zinn Braid, a desoldering braid with a no-clean flux formulation. Cobar offers the braid in three different sizes - 1.4, 1.9 and 2.5 mm - to complement the CoBrush and all lead-free no-clean wire solders for rework applications.
The advanced flat braid design removes excess solder in service operations and solder bumps on pads. Made from the highest quality copper in the industry, the braids are vacuum sealed to prevent oxidation. Additionally, the included flux is classified according to J-STD-004 and EN 61190-1-1 as RELO.
The Balver Zinn Braid features a very high capillary action capacity and an ultra-pure, no-clean flux formulation. The no-clean flux residue is halide-free and non-conductive so it does not have to be cleaned. Additionally, the no-clean desoldering braid is designed to improve rework efficiency in through-hole and SMT operations.
