Fully Functional Trial Software Gives Manufacturers and Distributors Worldwide Hands-on Tool to Improve Customer Satisfaction, Reduce Operating Costs, and Uncover New Profit Sources through Returns Automation

Austin, Texas - June 24, 2008 - ClearOrbit, a leading provider of real-time supply chain execution and reverse logistics software solutions, today announced that the company is now offering a 30-day free trial of its Enterprise Returns Management (ERM) solution. ERM is ClearOrbit's Web-based, end-to-end software that automates returns processes for manufacturers and distributors. By managing the entire returns lifecycle, from return merchandise authorization (RMA) creation through final product disposition, ERM provides visibility into reverse logistics processes to enable companies to enhance customer service and recover inventory and dollars lost to inefficient returns operations.

This 30-day free trial allows users to experience first-hand how ClearOrbit's ERM leverages the value companies have invested in their existing SAP® or Oracle® enterprise resource planning, supply chain management, customer relationship management, and warehouse management systems, extending those capabilities for end-to-end management of reverse product flows and disposition. The trial version contains key ERM transactions and can be used as a standalone product or it can interface with a manufacturer's data.

According to recent reports, returns management and reverse logistics represent a significant source of untapped profitability for many organizations. Research has shown that not only is reverse logistics rapidly emerging as a core driver of competitive advantage and financial performance among leading manufacturers, but also that optimizing reverse logistics operations can yield increases in customer loyalty and retention, boost revenue and improve product uptime and quality.

According to Warren Sumner, ClearOrbit vice president of marketing and products, "As we continue to adapt our industry-leading business solutions to make ownership easier and faster, ClearOrbit is poised to serve companies worldwide looking to provide a superior customer experience and to improve margins by gaining efficiencies throughout their supply chain processes. With returns management, companies are looking to re-engineer reverse logistics for better customer service and cost efficiencies, while capturing a higher percentage of initial value from returned products and parts. ClearOrbit is helping customers achieve these objectives by providing the visibility, automation and reconciliation required to effectively drive costs out of the returns stream."

A free trial version of ClearOrbit's ERM can be downloaded from the ClearOrbit Web site. By downloading and using the trial version of ERM, users are granted access to ClearOrbit customer support. Licensed versions of ERM are offered in user-based and enterprise-wide models. For more information on ERM, visit http://clearorbit.com/ReturnsMgmt.php.
