Live Response Service will Enhance Clear2there's Smart Premise Solutions Deployed by Telecommunications Service Providers
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – Clear2there LLC, a leading provider of advanced video surveillance, smart-home, smart-business, smart-farm, and smart-healthcare applications, and M2M solutions for service providers and enterprises, announced that it is collaborating with WH International Response Center (WHIRC) to integrate round-the-clock professional monitoring services with its smart-premise surveillance, monitoring, and control solutions that are deployed by telecommunications service providers throughout the United States. Under the agreement, Clear2there has developed software in its award-winning Viewbiquity Cloud Application Suite (VCAS) to assure that event notifications from panic buttons, alarms, and other emergency sensors are immediately relayed to WHIRC for immediate live analysis and response.
According to WHIRC vice president Wendy Youngren, the growing demand for monitoring services that are not directly linked to Internet-based over-the-top alarm companies has enabled WHIRC to expand its service area to cover the United States and Canada.
"Many local utility, cable, and telephone operators are looking to provide their customers with a monitoring option as a part of a comprehensive smart-premise offering," noted Youngren. "As a subsidiary of Wright-Hennepin Electric Cooperative, we completely understand how the close relationship many local providers enjoy with their customers is an important part of doing business. The ability for these local providers to offer 24/7 monitoring without the expense of operating their own monitoring centers enables them to continue serving their subscribers' needs, and successfully compete with other providers that are encroaching on their service areas."
Service providers choosing to deploy smart-premise solutions with Clear2there's VCAS platform can customize services to meet the needs of the local community and subscriber base, while delivering compelling features at highly competitive prices. The efficiency and flexibility of the VCAS platform is enabled by a unique service delivery architecture, which employs a hybrid of central office or datacenter-based servers and storage resources, cloud-based services, and unique thin-client technology at the customer premise.
"Local service providers that have a direct broadband connection to the customer premise can leverage the available bandwidth in the local loop to offer a range of services from smart home features through HD video surveillance options that over-the-top competitors struggle to support," said Craig Steen, president and chief executive officer with Clear2there. "For providers that want to offer a centralized monitored service option, integrating a top-notch monitoring center such as WHIRC to the VCAS solution portfolio can dramatically enhance surveillance and security service offerings. We expect that this collaboration with WHIRC will greatly enhance the business opportunities for both companies, and will contribute to increased profitability for service providers."
