Classifier Milling Systems Adds CO2 Remediation Development to its Roster of Capabilities

Brampton, ON - June 2011 - Classifier Milling Systems' involvement with a significant and noteworthy CO2 remediation development project has far-reaching market implications. For plants utilizing coal for its power source, they can now use this dry process for capturing a percentage of CO2 present in their air stream.

CMS's President and CEO Todd Vanderhart points to the metrics observing, "The preliminary tests were even better than the anticipated results of the prototype system." As CMS moves forward, incorporating CO2 remediation as a core competency will underscore the company's success in this emerging, green field.

Vanderhart has driven CMS's worldwide expansion in the processing industry and brings more than two decades of expertise to the development of a viable solution to the expanding CO2 challenge. "The coal-fired problem is not going away any time soon. The extreme costs associated with solutions like CO2 capture to liquid and sending it underground for storage have been garnering a lot of the attention. Our focus, however, remains trained on what can be done now - and for a lot less money. The solution we've developed can be implemented in a matter of months - and with great results."

CMS plans to develop and launch their inaugural full-sized online system overseas. Vanderhart explains, "We've had tremendous success with our partners there. Our joint ventures outside of North America are willing and able to work with us to develop the designs and efficiencies that will produce the best and most desirable solution available. We're redefining what's possible now and as we go forward."
