Press release date: June 14, 2010

Long-time Epilog Laser distributor Class Act Engraving today announced plans to sponsor the Great Lakes Engravers Conference Oct. 8 and 9, in Buffalo, NY. The conference is an excellent opportunity for industry-newcomers and seasoned veterans alike to gain valuable insights through a series of educational sessions, application techniques, group discussions, a vendor showcase, and much more.

"The Great Lakes Engravers Conference allows both industry veterans and beginning engravers to share best practices, tips, tricks and other techniques," said Jeff Aichinger, owner of Class Act Engraving. "We're celebrating our tenth anniversary this year and have come to realize that since the industry is always evolving there is a strong need for collaboration, brainstorming and sharing among associates and colleagues - and that's what people will get when they attend the conference."

The Great Lakes Engravers Conference features business-oriented sessions such as "Tax Planning for you and your Business", "The Value of Online Forums and Social Networks" and "Search Engine Marketing", as well as more sales-oriented sessions like "How to Sell Custom Products", "Selling Gifts in 2010", "Make Money with a Laser - where is the Market?"

Additionally, Mike Dean, director of sales and marketing for Epilog Laser, will host both a professional engravers forum, along with a presentation on the state of the industry and how it is growing. Also included will be a selection from Dean's popular series, "101 Things to Do with Your Engraver".

"For anyone currently in the laser engraving industry or even those just thinking about entering the market, this conference will prove to be an incredibly valuable event for all those who attend," Aichinger said.
