Press release date: June 6, 2007

Cleves, Ohio - During the assembly process of parts that are being press fit together, both force and displacement are measured and monitored. A new brochure now available from Cincinnati Test Systems features the new lines of SAM Signature Analysis Modules and APM Assembly Press Modules that integrate quality control into the press fit manufacturing process. The brochure can be viewed and downloaded from Cincinnati Test Systems' web site (www.cincinnati-test.com).

The SAM lines of Signature Analysis Modules are monitoring instruments used to achieve certifiable quality control. The APM line of precision electromechanical servo presses provides precision, reliability and control needed in high quality assembly operations.

The eight-page, full-color brochure includes descriptions, specifications, features and benefits of the SAM Signature Analysis Modules designated SAM 100, 300 and 400 as well as the APM and APMH press force modules. The brochure also provides depictive examples and clear explanation of the various types of monitoring methods such as tolerance window, dynamic measuring, travel classification and load classification that are available with the SAM Signature Analysis Modules. Easy integration of the APM or the compact APMH servo press module with the SAM Signature Analysis Module ensures precision quality control even in crowded assembly cells where space is at a premium.

The CTS line of assembly and monitoring equipment can improve assembly operations by providing real time monitoring and control of precision assembly process. Applications in diverse market segments such as automotive components, medical devices, appliances, consumer products and general industrial equipment are all excellent candidates for assembly process improvement utilizing the SAM & APM product lines.
