Cincinnati Automation releases an automated inspection system for multi-layer products such as laminated sensor plates. The machine included a part nest on a servo cylinder, LED lighting, telecentric lens, 2 Keyence high resolution color vision cameras to verify correct features and to detect contamination, a servo gripper and z-axis for unloading good parts. Other features included an AB PLC, a color touch screen HMI, and an industrial PC with custom tiled screens and inspection results data.
