Christine McGee Appointed Senior Vice President, Marketing at Clean Harbors


HOUSTON - November 30, 2011 - Clean Harbors, North America's leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services, today announced that Christine R. McGee has been appointed Senior Vice President, Marketing for Energy & Industrial Services. She reports directly to David M. Parry, President, Energy & Industrial Services.

In this newly created position, Ms. McGee will be developing and deploying marketing strategies, plans and tactics for the Company's upstream and downstream lines of business, with a strong emphasis in the U.S. and western Canada. She will apply her considerable business-to-business marketing experience as she works closely with the Energy & Industrial Services management team to create sustainable, profitable revenue growth in Clean Harbors' oil and gas sectors.

Ms. McGee joins Clean Harbors from Weatherford where she was Vice President, Marketing with responsibilities for supervising global external and internal strategic marketing and communications/public relations functions for the corporate, global product and service line, and geo-market organizations.

Ms. McGee's career includes a succession of positions of increasing responsibility in marketing communications and public relations in the healthcare, chemical and energy industries providing strategic communications in support of financial relations, crisis management, marketing communications, public affairs and media relations.

Ms. McGee is well-recognized in the industry and is a frequent speaker at conferences and is a member of the American Marketing Association's Chief Marketing Officer Special Interest Group. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University.
