Press release date: August 24, 2010

LIBERTYVILLE, IL, August 24, 2010 - Introduced in Europe one year ago, the Chloride Trinergy® modular UPS system has quickly redefined data center power protection by setting new industry standards with its unprecedented energy savings. Chloride plans a much anticipated North American debut for Trinergy® in October 2010. In preparation for this historical launch the company today published a series of white papers now available on its website www.chloridepower.com/USA.

Trinergy has taken the European market by storm with its 99% energy efficiency made possible by combining all three standard functioning modes - Maximum Power Control ( Double Conversion/VFI), Maximum Energy Savings (Standby/VFD) and High Efficiency with Power Conditioning ( Line Interactive/ VI) - all in one high-power solution. Trinergy chooses the most efficient operating mode based on actual power quality conditions to ensure that both the power supplied to the load and that reflected back to the source remain optimal at all times, while using only the necessary energy required to provide the best power quality and conditioning to the load.

European data center engineers have also given high marks to Trinergy's three-dimensional modularity. This unique design allows concurrent maintailability within power modules (vertical modularity) plus expansion of capacity and redundancy by adding power modules to an array (horizontal modularity) and by paralleling multiple arrays (orthogonal modularity). Trinergy is scalable up to 9.6 MW, the highest active power rating ever available in one UPS.

Trinergy's impact on the future of data center power protection is addressed in four white papers authored by Chloride engineering professionals (click to download):

o Pioneering Innovation
o 3 in 1 Functioning Modes
o Benefits of modular and scalable solutions
o Energy Efficiency
