Burgaw, N.C. - Sept. 2006 Chloride proudly introduces the Caliber edge-lit exit with both a slim profile and numerous available finishes that will fit any architectural space. A 120/277 dual voltage input with surge protection and Intelli-Charge for self-diagnostics, allows the Caliber Series to serve as an emergency exit with the most reliable charging system available on the market. Illumination levels exceed 70 cd/m2 with the use of high intensity, long life LEDs, taking exit illumination to new levels and upping the ante for life safety.
Installation is made easy and accommodates recessed ceiling, surface ceiling, surface end and surface wall mount configurations out of one box. Constructed of die cast aluminum, the Caliber Series is available in a wide range of decorative finishes. The Caliber Series is listed to UL 924 standards and meets or exceeds performance criteria of NFPA, IBC, NEC, BOCA and OSHA. The Caliber Series is Energy Star compliant and is suitable for use in damp locations 32°F (0°C) to 104°F (40°C).
