LIBERTYVILLE, IL, June 30, 2008 - Chloride Group PLC ("Chloride" or "The Company"), a global leader and provider of secure quality power solutions, today announced the appointment of Joe Nitiss as President of its Chloride North American operations, effective immediately. As President, Mr. Nitiss will have responsibility for the strategic planning, oversight and growth of Chloride services and products in the U.S. $2.2 billion North American power quality market.

Mr. Nitiss joins Chloride from Honeywell where he served as General Manager of Honeywell Cable Products, a manufacturer of low-voltage cable and wire. Prior to this, he held marketing and sales roles of increasing responsibilities within Emerson Electric. Mr. Nitiss earned a BA and MBA from the University of Chicago.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Nitiss said: "Chloride North America is well positioned for the changing landscape for power quality, one that demands hardware, services, connectivity and management solutions. I look forward to working together with the excellent team that has been assembled here."

Since acquiring ONEAC Corporation in 1999, Chloride has focused on broadening its line of power protection devices under the global Chloride brand name. It currently offers single-phase and three-phase power conditioners and UPS models ranging from 75 VA up to 750 kVA modules that can parallel to 6 MW that are relied upon in leading datacenters, retail operations, medical and telecommunication facilities, and industrial plants. In addition, the company's power conditioners, UPS, Connectivity and management systems, and line protectors are highly regarded by engineering professionals. On the service side, Chloride North America solves customer problems on-site with pre- and post-installation surveys, UPS start-up and commissioning, battery management, and trouble investigation.
