OAKDALE, Minn. - Nov. 1, 2006 - Dyneon LLC, one of the world's leading fluoropolymer producers, announces the appointment of Chemtech Specialties Inc. as an authorized distributor of the company's polymer additive products focusing on the northeastern United States. Polymer additives from Dyneon's Specialty Additives business are used in engineered plastics applications to achieve critical performance characteristics, such as wear and mar resistance or anti-drip properties.
Chemtech Specialties is a major chemical distributor with headquarters and warehouse facilities in Philadelphia, Pa. A subsidiary of Brenntag North America, this distributor serves customers across the northeastern United States.
"Chemtech Specialties has a highly qualified technical sales staff, and a unique ability to assist customers with effective product selection and application," said Janice Bennett, Dyneon national sales manager. Bennett also remarks that this new distribution channel represents Dyneon's first appointment of an authorized distributor for polymer additives in the United States, and extends the company's sales reach in an important market.
