SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Chelsio Communications, Inc., a leading provider of 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) networking and storage solutions, today announced that its ESX/ESXi 4.02/4.1 and Virtual Multi-port drivers for its 10GbE adapters have achieved VMware Ready(TM) status for VMware ESX. This designation indicates that Chelsio Unified Wire adapters and drivers have passed a detailed evaluation and testing process managed by VMware and is now listed on the VMware Hardware Compatibility List.
Passing the extensive VMware-specified testing helps ensure that Chelsio adapters make best use of VMware technology and are ready for deployment in customer environments.
