March 23, 2007. Chatsworth, CA - Chatsworth Data Corporation today announced that Linda Zabors has been named vice president of business development for its Impactograph division. For more than 30 years, Chatsworth has been a leader in the manufacture and worldwide supply of impact indicators and recorders that ensure the safe shipping and handling of sensitive equipment and materials. Zabors' primary focus will be on the sales, marketing and evaluation of those products.
Zabors comes to Chatsworth from Ocuity, where she was director of business development. Ocuity provides companies with mobile asset information for shipping applications.
"Chatsworth has a well-established reputation for quality, cost-effective indicators and recorders," said Zabors. "If a company has high-value items that could sustain damage in the course of shipping, Chatsworth has a product that should be included in that shipment."
Zabors noted that the presence of a Chatsworth impact indicator or recorder sensitizes shippers to the need for careful handling and provide a tool to determine when and where damage occurred. "Impact recorders are also a tremendous benefit for insurance companies," she said, "because they help answer questions concerning damage liability."

In addition to her previous position with Ocuity, Zabors has also been a principal consultant for Zeta Enterprises, director of strategic planning with Inkindex and held various positions for the former SBC-Ameritech (now AT&T).
