MEADVILLE, Pa. - Jan. 26, 2009 - Channellock, Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of quality hand tools, has introduced 23 new and improved screwdrivers and nutdrivers to the CODE BLUE® line. The new tools are packed with functionality and manufactured with the same superior standards that CHANNELLOCK® embodies.

The enhanced screwdrivers line features seven new slotted screwdrivers measuring 3/16"x4", 3/16"x6", 3/16"x8", ¼"x1½", ¼"x4", ¼"x6", and 3/8"x8"; and five Phillips screwdrivers measuring #1x4", #2x1½", #2x4", #2x6", and #3x6". Each screwdriver is equipped with magnetic tips, high-torque, three-sided grips and Go-Thru steel blades.
Additionally, a seven-piece screwdriver set is available: slotted screwdrivers measuring 3/16"x4", ¼"x4", ¼"x6", 3/8"x8" and Phillips screwdrivers measuring #1x4", #2x4", #3x6".
A multi-bit screwdriver with #1 and #2 Phillips bits, 3/16" and ¼" slotted bits, and 5/16" and ¼" nutdriver bits is also part of the new line.
The new and improved nutdriver line includes seven nutdrivers measuring 3/16", ¼", 5/16", 11/32", 3/8", 7/16" and ½" with full hollow shafts. Each tool features high-torque, three-sided grips, making them comprehensive, high-quality additions to anyone's toolbox, from industry professionals to DIYers. The new CODE BLUE® Nutdrivers are available individually or as a seven piece set.
All of the tools also come with CODE BLUE® comfort grips for ease in operation and laser-etched steel caps for easy identification.
